SM Entertainment, the band's agency, announced, "AESPA will release their 6th mini album 'Rich Man' on September 5th at 1 PM KST." This marks their first comeback in about a year, following their fifth mini album, "Whiplash," released in October of last year.

"Rich Man" contains six tracks, including the title track of the same name. It heralds a different musical style from their single "Dirty Work," released in June.

Furthermore, an intro video featuring 3D guitar graphics was released on AESPA's official social media, drawing attention with the slogan, "I am enough as I am. I am a 'Rich Man'."
