BABYMONSTER, 7-member group completes with Ahyeon joining.

The group BABYMONSTER announced the start of seven-member activities with the return of member Ahyeon.

BABYMONSTER is a group that debuted through YG Entertainment's own survival reality program 'Last Evaluation'.

Above all, public expectations were high because it was a group released from YG 7 years after Blackpink. However, BABYMONSTER experienced member changes even before its debut. Originally, the group consisted of 7 members: Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, Pharita, Chiquita, Ruka, and Asa, but Ahyeon was unable to participate in the debut activities due to health reasons.

As soon as Ahyeon was revealed as a candidate for BABYMONSTER member, she became famous as 'Blackpink Jennie lookalike' and 'Little Jennie'. Also on the audition program, she successfully performed singer Charlie Puth's 'DANGEROUSLY' and received favorable reviews.

That's why it was disappointing to hear the news that Ahyeon would not debut. BABYMONSTER, a 6-member group excluding Ahyeon, debuted with 'BATTER UP' on November 27 last year. This song is a powerful hip-hop song that marks the beginning of BABYMONSTER with strong confidence and ambition, and imprints BABYMONSTER's unique presence.

Fans' expectations increased with the news that the new song 'Stuck In The Middle' will be released on February 1st. This song is a new genre of song that YG has never shown before, focusing entirely on the members' outstanding singing skills and unique voices.

On top of that, producer Yang Hyun-suk announced the news of joining Ahyeon, causing a hot reaction. Producer Yang Hyun-suk said on his official blog on the 25th, "Ahyeon has fully recovered her health and is back in YG from this day and recording songs for the album," adding, "Ahyeon will be working with the first mini album released in April."

According to this, versions of 'BATTER UP' and 'Stuck In The Middle' featuring Ahyeon will be included in the first mini album to be released in April. Producer Yang Hyun-seok reinforced YG's internal producer lineup, saying, "You can look forward to the activities of the 7 perfect BABYMONSTER groups." We promise that it will proceed much faster than before. “The goal is to release the full album around fall,” he said.
